About this release.
Upper Deck has made NHL cards since 1990-91, and its Series 1 and Series 2 sets are the league’s flagship release. In modern sets, rookies appear as Young Guns, a short-printed subset with its own design, and Young Guns are among the most collected modern hockey cards. Dazzlers Blue is a named insert or parallel within Upper Deck Hockey, so it is listed as its own group.
This page lists 2 cataloged cards from the 2024–25 Upper Deck Hockey — Dazzlers Blue release: Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby. None carries a rookie label yet. The full release has more cards than this partial checklist.
Young Guns sit inside the main numbering, so a number alone does not tell you whether a card is a Young Gun; look for the Young Guns banner. Parallels such as Exclusives and High Gloss share the number but are serial-numbered or differently finished.
Keep the release identity intact.
Year, set name and format define this group. A parallel, insert, reprint, regional release or sticker can require a separate identity even when the player and number match. Review the entry notes and original source before treating a copy as a checklist match.
